It’s most fun to see my style progress and evolve over the course of these past few years. Having this Instagram account is really letting my creative side evolve. ☀️

I need your opinion :: what would you put on these open shelves?

I’ve had a few different items but nothing seems to look right. They are pretty narrow and that top one is unreachable by normal height standards. 😂 must stand on counter

And of course Bella had to make an appearance. She was watching the security cameras again. So weird.

Today in stories I answered questions on our “wet bath”. Have you heard of those yet?! It’s were the bathtub is in the same area as the shower.

Ok wow. Well, when I say it like that it sounds awfully silly haha “ah that’s called a normal bathroom, Terra” 🛁

Are you a small town girl or a big city lover?! TBH I am the in between.

I’d like to retire with scenic acreage that’s still close enough to an airport/Target 😂 priorities I guess.

Is there a space in your home that you still have not tackled since moving in? Bonus points for longest time lived with it 😹 This corner always had boxes and clothes in it. Swipe to see the “cleaned up” before. LOL

I mean we have way more spaces that need worked on still BUT this space I see every night. I refreshed it with a pouf that is pulling double duty as a side table. All you have to do is add a hardback book and you can set items easily on it.

If you could travel to anywhere, where would you go!? 🚘 ✈️

After a few hiccups, we survived travel day and are officially on vacation at the beach! Yesterday we finished laying all the tile and are prepared for the next steps in the patio project. That means when we get home; we will only have a week to completely finish the patio project for the one room challenge. 😳😜

This past week was week 5 for the one room challenge! Honestly I didn’t get a lot done until this weekend so I held off on the blog post until the exact last minute it was due. (Sunday) ⁣

I stained the daybed swing in Teak, the same color as all of the other wood on our exterior. We are waiting for new, longer ropes to come in so it can be hung. The twin size mattress we already had, it’s sooo comfortable but it’s 10 inches, which does not leave a ton of room to actually sit back. If I was to suggest someone using this as an inspo, maybe get the 8 inch thick mattress. We have a four inch one in our bay window and it’s awful BTW. ⁣

We are so close to the end of laying the tile! We’ve tiled ourselves into a corner, so now we have to wait 48 hours before we can stand on these to finish those LOL ⁣

Symmetrical or Asymmetrical?! What is your kitchen? ⁣

My kitchen is asymmetrical. The stove range is directly under the peak of the vault for symmetry. I created a delicate cabinet on one side and open shelves/cabinetry on the other side to fill the area. ⁣

This created asymmetry. I kind of had to bc there’s a door right there also. ⁣
⁣
I like both in their own spaces. Found another asymmetrical kitchen that I just love 💛 This kitchen is a remodel by @jenferrandi check out her page to see the full photos.

This weekend I’m on the hunt for outdoor rugs and new pendants for above the bed. When we got these in they were smaller than I thought, no returns allowed so I said we would keep them and be looking for new ones. ⁣

Well we never did. Honestly it just becomes something you look past and forget. So I’m going to start actively looking. Not sure what style to get though! ⁣
